Picture Time!

We just got your maternity pictures back, Baby Girl!  I'm very happy with how they turned out (despite the fact that I hate my hair in almost all of them--stupid humidity!  You'll understand one day!) and so glad to have these memories to treasure!

An excited family awaiting our new addition!

Big brother can't wait for you to arrive!

Bump love!  The one above is my favorite!

Our family is nearly complete!

While we are looking forward to you joining us, we do want to ask that you wait just a bit longer, little girl!  My Braxton Hicks are starting to occur more regularly and I feel that you will be in a hurry to join us, just like your brother was!  I'm ready for you, but would really like you to wait til 37 weeks so you can be as healthy and strong as possible.  Can you do that for Momma, please?  :)

Love you,

Momma

34 1/2 Weeks!

I can't believe we're already here, Baby Girl!  You just had your 34 week appointment this past Thursday (doing great, by the way!) and at your upcoming 36 week appointment, it will be time to get serious!  We'll have another ultrasound to check your size and see if you decide to show up early like your brother (I'm hoping for 38 weeks this time...just one extra week to prepare would be great)!  Your room is nearly finished though, so that's one thing to cross off the list!

We also had our maternity pictures taken today.  Our photographer was great and I'm hoping we got some amazing shots with me, Daddy, Big Brother, and you!

Daddy captured this moment during our photo shoot.  Big Brother did really well!

Then, when we came home, we quickly snapped some bump pictures because we keep forgetting. You are definitely growing in there, Baby Girl!

34 1/2 weeks and getting bigger each day!

So I know I can't complain much, because really I have easy pregnancies, but I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable.  Between back pain, some rib pain, and these darn Braxton Hicks, I know we're getting close.  I'm at the point where I am ready for the pregnancy to be done, but not quite ready for all a newborn brings yet!  But, we could have as little as 2 1/2 weeks left, so I better get ready!

Love you,

Momma

Just a Little Sprinkle

Hey Baby Girl!  It was so exciting today to take some time to celebrate your imminent arrival!  Ms. S and Ms. A hosted a lovely baby sprinkle for you today with our Marietta friends and family.  It was a lovely day and just has me more excited for you!

Love these girls!

Marietta girls!

Thanks for coming to celebrate ladies!

My favorite pregnancy pose.  Yeah, Little One, you should just know now that your Momma is a bit crazy.  But in a good way, I promise!

Just the Girls

This week, Daddy had to go back to Ohio for work and, not wanting to leave 33 week pregnant Momma to take care of Big Brother by herself all week, took Little Buddy back to Ohio to visit with Mimi and Pop-Pop.  That leaves just us girls here, Little One (and Chesney)!  Although I will say that the house is very clean and I actually can sit and work on my school stuff, it's also very quiet and very lonely.  I miss our boys!  But I am happy to take some time to focus on you, Baby Girl, and to rest and enjoy our last few weeks of the pregnancy together!  I did take some time today to work on your room...happy to say it's nearly done!

Just have to finish a few more things, like buying some hangers to finish hanging up your massive wardrobe!  Daddy and I also need to paint and hang your closet doors and hang a few things on your walls.  Then, honestly, we'll be pretty close to ready for you (or as ready as we're going to be)!

Love you baby girl,

Momma

Shake What Your Momma Gave Ya!

While this wasn't your first concert (Daddy and I made all sorts of plans once we found out you were on your way; we've been quite the concert attendees this summer because we know we'll be scaling back on events following your arrival), it was your first boy band concert and that, little one, is a huge life moment!

Bumping out with Ms. M and Ms. E.  Preggo girls know how to have fun too!

Rocking out with the girls!

Your Momma's not ashamed to admit she danced and sang like a teenage girl at the Backstreet Boys concert with her girlfriends (yes, I am sure to embarrass you one day at weddings and such).  It was a lot of fun and I'm glad you could come along!  And I hope one day you'll have such an amazing group of friends to be (safely) crazy with too...and maybe you'll still invite dear ol' Mom along for the ride.

Love you,

Momma
