22 Weeks!

After a long day yesterday of feeling very pregnant and very uncomfortable (a lot of tightening and stretching ligaments), I was happy that everything was back to normal today.  I can't believe we are already at 22 weeks!  I'm even able to break out some of my maternity tank tops now.

What's that Baby Bump Aboot, Eh?

Why hi there world traveler!  This week you went on your first international excursion to Canada.  Momma had to present a workshop and a paper at the TQ Workshops and at the AQM Conference in Edmonton.  It was a wonderful time, though finding appropriate clothes was a bit of a challenge because of you!  I'm not big enough for my maternity clothes yet, but my regular clothes are getting a bit tight.  Thankfully I found a few loose tops that worked just fine.

Canadian belly bump!  21 weeks.

The trip was great, but I was so happy to get home to your Daddy and Big Brother, especially because Big Brother got his big boy bed!  The crib is now waiting to be set up in your room, baby girl.

Happy to be home for story time.

Preparations (20 weeks!)

Hello Baby Girl!

Today was your 20 week ultrasound (although technically you will be 20 weeks tomorrow), so we got to do your anatomy scan.  Happy to report that you have all your parts and are measuring right on track!  They say that you are about 11 ounces right now...can't wait to see how big you get!

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by!  Between keeping up with your brother and school, I've been kept pretty busy (and tired!).  We know that you will be here soon, though, so we've started making some preparations.  We've emptied the the guest room and will soon be moving the nursery furniture in to make your room! 

Hopefully we can go furniture shopping for your brother soon (he's getting a big bed!) so we can start setting up!

Also Little Girl, I hope you like clothes because your Texas Aunties have been MORE than generous.  I am pretty sure you already have an outfit for each day of the month!  Thanks to all of our dear friends passing the clothes along, you won't have to suffer through my plan of you wearing your brother's old clothes with headbands!

It is also a big day today because it is your brother's birthday!  Little Buddy turned 3 today and we had so much fun celebrating with him.  I think his favorite part was grilled cheese by the pool with Daddy at lunch time.  Cannot wait until we get to celebrate your birthday with you, baby girl!
